Ask AI about any chart

Open "Ask AI about this chart" under the chart on the Trade page's live chart and in Replay and ask in plain words: which levels matter here, is volume confirming the move, where is the trend vulnerable. The answer streams in as it's written, quotes the actual prices and times from your chart, and you can keep asking follow-ups.

Before the AI sees anything, the levels a trader reads off a chart are worked out for it - the prior day's high, low and close, the gap at the open, the pre-market range, VWAP, the opening range, ATR, and how the latest bar's volume compares - so the answer rests on real numbers rather than guesses. It also reads the values of any indicators you have on the chart - a moving average, RSI, MACD - exactly as the chart draws them, so "is RSI overbought?" gets the number you are looking at.

In Replay it only ever sees what you've revealed. Step the playhead forward and ask again, and the answer is about that moment: bars after the playhead are never sent, and the AI is told that nothing later is known. Practice reading a chart, then compare your read with the AI's.

The same key also sets up a backtest from a description. Write the strategy in your own words on the Backtest page and the AI lays it out setting by setting, marking what differs from your current form, listing what it assumed and anything the backtester can't do. Nothing changes until you press "Use this strategy".

You bring your own AI key (Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's GPT) and pay your AI provider directly for what you use - usually a couple of cents a question, shown after every answer, with the month's total on your Settings page. Your key is checked once and stored encrypted. The AI is sent the bars on your chart and your question, and nothing else about you or your account, and it can't see or place orders. It's analysis of what the chart shows, not investment advice, and like any AI it can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it.
